That's right, Jesus is set to get the Bollywood treatment.

It has been announced that there is to be an - as yet untitled - Bollywood biopic of Jesus of Nazareth, veteran Indian film maker Singeetham Srinivasa Rao has seen reeled in to direct this bio pic.


Unlike previous biopics this film will focus on the early years of Christ's life and we know what you're thinking "will there be any songs", the answer is of course. What's a Bollywood movie without the singing.





With the issues that faced Martin Scorsese and Mel Gibson in their attempts we salute the bravery of Singeetham Srinivasa Rao and co.




Shooting will take place in India and Israel.
